Prof. Kabiru Aderemi Adeyemo
Kabiru Aderemi Adeyemo is a Professor of Management & Accounting, Lead City University Ibadan. Oyo State, Nigeria. He holds the following qualifications, NCE Geography History (Ilesa), B.Sc. Accounting, MBA, LLB, LLM (Ife), B.L (Abuja), MA Peace & Conflict, M.Sc. Project Development Implementation (Ibadan), Ph.D in Management & Accounting, and Ph.D in Law (Nigeria).
Adeyemo’s trajectory in Nigeria’s academic landscape has been a phenomenal success. At the age of 21 he began his career as a teacher at Ife Anglican Grammar School Ile-Ife. He also taught at Olode Grammar School, Olode.
He has wide teaching and research experience in Tertiary Institutions including Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomosho, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, He was a visiting Professor at Babcock University, Ilisan-Remo, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta and CIPA, Ghana. At various levels, he distinguished himself as a cerebral scholar with remarkable foot prints of excellence. His varied background has assisted him to contribute to knowledge in the areas of Management and Accounting, Business Policy and Strategic Management. Entrepreneurship, Law, Project Management and Governance.
Prof. Adeyemo has designed, co-ordinated and supervised the take-off and accreditation of some departmental programs at Lead City University. He has served as the pioneer HOD of Management and Accounting, Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, and Director of Part-Time Programmes of the University, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Acting Vice chancellor and now the Vice Chancellor of the great Institution, the first private University in Ibadan land. He is the Chairman, Committee of Vice Chancellors & Registrars of Private Universities in Nigeria.

Prof. Adeyemo, a man of many parts has successfully synergized the town with the gown and his active in other organizations and has served in various capacities, which include: Past President Rotary Club of Ibadan 2016-2017, Past Vice President, Wednesday Social Club of Nigeria, NASFAT, Secretary Honorary Members 2-DIV Army Officers Mess Agodi Ibadan. He is also a member of RANAO Association, Ibadan, The Professional Group Lafia Business Club Ibadan and a Friend to Omo-Ajorosun, Ibadan and a member of Bethel CICS II, Ibadan.
He bagged the Prestigious Outstanding Leadership Award by the Uni-Caribbean Business School in 2021. He also bagged The Award of Excellence for great service and Scholar Contribution to Humanity by the Retired Member of Nigerian Armed forces.
